How To Clean Inflatable Bouncers

Kids love playing on an inflatable bouncer no matter how old they are. That is what makes these great to have when putting together a birthday party, having a booth at a carnival, or running your own bouncer business. Whether you are renting or purchasing these you have to know the best way to keep them clean.

It might seem daunting that you would have to clean them – but if you are just renting them out than all you have to do is a simple, quick cleaning. This should be done when all the children are out of it and before you deflate it. It will ensure that you receive your deposit back (if you put any down) and that nothing damages it.

Before you begin you have to ask all of the kids to step out of it. Go inside with a soft bristled broom and remove any leaves, sticks, and dirt from inside. Once you have gotten rid of the dirt you can shut the device off and deflate it. Remember to unplug it before you begin the cleaning process.

Fill a bucket with warm water and a disinfectant cleaner. Combine the water and cleaner appropriate to what the instructions tell you. Adding too much could be too strong and damage the fabric of the bouncer.

Dip a sponge into the bucket and wipe down the sides of the bouncer. Avoid the use of scrub brushes or other harsh cleaning tools. These will scratch and tear the surface of the bouncers.

Clean the whole thing thoroughly until you are satisfied that you have gotten everything. Now rinse the disinfectant cleaner off of the bouncer using a garden hose. Allow it to sit out in the sun for a full day to air dry.
