Taking Down Inflatable Bouncers
Whether you are renting an inflatable bouncer or purchasing one you need to make sure that it stays in one piece. These can cost anywhere between $300 to $1,000 depending on what types and size you get. If you damage one that is rented it is possible that you would have to pay extra to pay for it.
These are not going to be damaged very easily if you have followed the instructions on how best to set up these in your yard or in the park. However, when taking it down they are vulnerable and if you do not roll it up correctly you could puncture a hole or tear a part of it.
Before you deflate the bouncer you need to make sure that all of the children have exited from it. Also make sure that any foreign objects (toys, shoes, dirt, and leaves) are removed. Use a broom to sweep out any dirt and leaves.
When everything inside is removed you will be ready to shut down the blower and remove the fan from the inflation tube. Open this tube widely so that all of the air can escape quickly. While it is letting the air out, remove the stakes holding it to the ground and clean the outside with a clean rag.
Stand in front of the doorway and fold down the columns, sides, and inflation and deflation tubes into the area of the base. Fold down the right side into the center line of the area of the base. Do the same thing with the left side. When you are finished both the left and right sides will be touching into the center of the base area.
Fold the left side over the right side and fold the front 1/3 of the distance to the back of it. You will need to release any extra air while you do this. Roll it towards the back.
Connect the straps all around the bouncer and try to place it neatly into the storage bag that it came with. If it did not come with a bag than simply roll it onto the dolly.
